A.I.E presents Korean-English bilingual storytelling performance by creating pieces through ensemble work with different areas of artists and educators; the ideas from visual artists, theatre artists, dancers, ESL educators, and early childhood educators are combined together for accomplishing our goal of ‘teaching through the arts.’ We wish the diverse group of audience could appreciate the different language, different culture, and different stories from around the world.

Homemade story는 엄마가 집에서 직접 만들어 주신 음식처럼 맛있고 영양이 풍부한 스토리텔링 공연입니다. 예술교육센터(Arts In Education, International Center)의 음악, 미술, 무용, 연극 분야의 예술가들과 영어교육, 어린이 교육 분야의 전문가들이 머리를 맞대어 함께 창작한 Homemade story는 TV와 컴퓨터 앞에서 많은 시간을 보내는 어린이들이 자칫 잃어버리기 쉬운 정서적 양분을 채워주기 위해 탄생되었습니다. 영어와 한국어를 동시에 들으면서 인형극과 댄스가 가미된 스토리텔링 공연을 감상하는 것은 아주 새로운 경험이 될 것입니다.
